No, you do not need to create a customer account to place an order.
You can also choose to create an account after placing your order to easily find your previous orders. Simply use the same email address you used when placing your order. To create an account, please click here.

What are the size of the scarves?
Our scarves measure 200 x 70 cm . This length is ideal, as it allows you to wear the scarf in various ways: once or twice around your neck, as a shawl, or as a blanket – the choice is yours.
What material are the Doux Cachemire scarves made of?
The Doux Cachemire scarves are made of 70% cashmere and 30% plant-based silk (viscose).
The combination of these two materials creates such an incredible feeling. On the one hand, the softness and warmth of cashmere, on the other hand, the suppleness and lightness of plant-based silk.

Where do our scarves come from?
Our scarves are produced right where our cashmere comes from, in Inner Mongolia (Asia) 🐐 After weaving, they arrive at our facilities in France, near Paris 🇫🇷 The rest of the story hangs around your neck! 🧣
Why should you use a laundry bag?
We strongly recommend using a laundry bag when machine washing your cashmere, as this avoids friction and thus prevents pilling.
How do I wash and dry my cashmere?
Your doux cashmere garment is made from a blend of textile fibers. It must be cared for carefully and gently to maintain its softness and quality.

Why should you use special cashmere detergent?
Special cashmere detergent allows for gentle cleaning of your scarf without damaging the fibers.
Conventional detergents may contain harmful ingredients that can impair the softness of cashmere.
Do not use fabric softener.
How do I prevent my cashmere from pilling?
How can I prevent my cashmere from pilling?
Your Doux Cashmere scarf will be new when you receive it. It is normal for the scarf to initially produce small fuzz balls. These are excess cashmere fibers.
You don't need to do anything special, just wash your scarf regularly and follow our care tips for the knitted item.
The more often you wash your scarf, the softer and more pleasant it will become. The first few washes remove excess material used in its manufacture. After about ten washes, all excess material should be gone, and no more pilling should be visible. If you notice pilling, it simply means it's time to wash your cashmere scarf. Dry fibers tend to pill.
Tip: Use a washing machine with a special laundry bag to avoid friction and thus reduce pilling.

How do I protect my cashmere from moths?
Moths love cashmere. To prevent moths from appearing, you should place cedar wood mothballs in your wardrobe.
In everyday life, we recommend that you follow our tips for avoiding moths.

Why is the page sometimes closed?
Doux Cashmere produces reasonable quantities each season. This means we produce the amount of items we are confident we will sell throughout the year, and that's all.
Doux Cachemire will be temporarily closed from February to prepare for the next season. We look forward to seeing you again in September for a sweet, colorful season 🌈.

How can I track my order?
After your order has been shipped, you will receive your tracking number via email. You can then simply visit the shipping company's website to check the status of your order.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via the contact form .
I made a mistake in the delivery address.
You have one hour to change or cancel your order by contacting us via email or chat. Once your order has been confirmed, we cannot make any changes.

What happens if I am not present at the time of delivery?
It's quite possible that you won't be home for the delivery. If the delivery person couldn't put your package in your mailbox or hand it over to someone you trust, it will be left at a nearby post office or collection point. You can find all the necessary information for collection directly on the shipping company's website using your tracking number.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for the pickup address to be updated.
My package tracking shows that it has been delivered, but I haven't received anything.
If your package is shown as "delivered" but you have not received it, we recommend that you ask your caretaker or your neighbors if they may have accepted it for you.
If this is not the case, please wait 24 hours. If the status of your order still shows "Returned to sender" after that time, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service: de@douxcachemire.com
How do I process a return or exchange?
If the items you wish to return are in perfect condition, in their original packaging with their label (readable barcode), you are entitled to make a return or exchange:
1) Notify us of your intention to make an exchange or return within 14 days of receiving your order via the returns portal (the return address will be provided to you).
2) Specify the color and size you would like in exchange, or the reasons for your return.
3) Prepare the package by including the delivery note that came with your original order.
4) Send your package!
Tip 💡 Send us your tracking number via email so we can track it and anticipate its arrival to speed up pickup.
Otherwise, we will get back to you once our logistics partner has registered the receipt 😉

How much does a deportation cost?
→ The buyer bears the return shipping costs.

How would you exchange it if it were a gift?
Don't worry, the process is the same. We simply need to trace the original order using one of the following pieces of information:
- The name or email address of the person who placed the order.
- Your contact details once the package has been delivered to you.
- The order number (e.g. #1001). We invite you to contact us; we will sort this out together :)
Refund period
You will receive an email notification when the refund has been processed. Please allow our logistics partner approximately 7 to 10 business days to process your return.
Please note that for orders paid for with a gift voucher or credit, the refund will automatically be issued as credit.
