We want gentleness!

It was during numerous journeys, including an incredible one in Mongolia, that Julie, the founder of the Doux Cachemire brand, discovered the incredible know-how in the production of cashmere that met our requirements for ethics and quality .

A trusting partnership

Our partner craftsmen have been based in Uydzin, in the heart of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, since 1984, and in Ujimqin, in the plains of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China, since 1998.

We are particularly proud to work with these cashmere houses, which have possessed such unique expertise for decades.

Ideal conditions

Experiencing extreme temperatures of up to -30°C in winter, these Capra goats produce high-quality Class A cashmere, which corresponds to the longest and finest hair.

From the hand-harvested cashmere wool to the weaving of the scarves, every step in the production of our scarves is carried out in the traditional way and with the utmost respect for these unique goats.

It takes 8 months to go from these steps to your precious scarf.

A limited production

We operate in an environmentally conscious manner . This means that we only collect the cashmere that our goats shed during their shedding season, and that's all.

Our stocks are therefore limited each year, and we cannot guarantee the availability of all colors throughout the entire winter season.
